In each of these areas, the Commission has identified different measures the EU can take to boost growth. They turn around improved legislation to reduce burdens on innovative businesses, the use of public procurement to encourage green products, standardisation/labelling/certification, as well as softer support measures, such as awareness campaigns etc.
