The London Array station, consisting of 341 turbines together with 100-turbined the Thanet station will produce 1.3 GW of electrical energy, and provide electricity for a million of households, Alians Media reports.
The Thanet station will be put in operation in 2008. It costs about one billion dollars. The London Array will be put in operation in 2010. Both stations are located on the Southern coast of England.
