Malfunction at Kola nuclear power plant
The second unit at the Kola NPP suffered a minor incident on March 14th, TV Murman reported.
One of the turbo-generators was taken off the grid due to some faults in the cooling system. However, it did not influence the reactors operation on the whole. It took seven hours to repair the cooling system and then the turbo-generator was put back in operation. The radiation levels around the nuclear plant remained normal, TV Murman reported.
