The new order specifies that oversight of the nuclear and radiation safety inspections division of Rostekhnadzor must receive and analyse with an expert group the number and character of deviations of a given nuclear installation from federal norms and regulations while reviewing licenses.
Results of the analyses received by the information division of Rostekhnadzor must define the reasons and conditions for the deviations from federal norms, as well as the effectiveness of measures taken by nuclear installations to eliminate and warn of violations of federal norms for nuclear energy use.
