Bellona reported in April this year that now former MEP Chris Davies said that White Rose was set for EU funding. However, this has until now not been confirmed.
A Commission implementing decision, stating the projects that will be awarded funding under the NER300 second call for proposals, has recently surfaced. Albeit only a draft in its current form, any changes are highly unlikely and an official announcement from the Commission’s DG Climate Action is expected on 8 July.
According to the document, White Rose’s funding will be €300 million.
