According to Oganesyan, construction of the oil platform for the Prirazlomnoe field is not finished by the specified time and it is planned to be completed by the end of this year if reqired financing is provided, ITAR-TASS reported.
The Prirazlomnoe field was discovered in 1989. It is located 70 km from the Pechorah Bay in the Barents Sea. The field contains more than 76.4 million tonn of all oil reserves at a depth from 2300 to 2500 meters. Futher potential oil reserves are embeded at a greater depth in 100 km range.
