Record-big electricity production at Kola nuclear power plant
The Kola NPP in 2004 produced 10 billion kWh, which is the plant's biggest annual production the last 10 years.
-The success of the regional power production industry shows that Murmansk Oblast can boost the kind of production, which the country needs, says Sergei Semyonov, deputy head of the regional Department of Economy.
The Kola NPP produced total 270 billion kWh during its operation, and generates today half of the all electricity in Murmansk region.
