Response to the published Inception Impact Assessment for a Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism
Bellona Europa commends the European Commission’s ongoing efforts to ensure that climate neutrality is met by 2050 and efforts to price Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions.

The roadmap of the proposal of the directive on the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism starts with a first public consultation we have filled in within the deadline of 1st April.

In regards of our response, our message is clear: Bellona Europa commends the European Commission’s ongoing efforts to ensure that climate neutrality is met by 2050 and efforts to price Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions.
