Russia prolonged gas delivery contract to Finland

Gazprom and Gasum prolonged the major contract of the Russian gas export to Finland to December 31, 2025.

The signed document specifies more than 15% increase of the gas volume to be delivered to Finland. By 2008 it is planned to reach 6 billion cubic meters per year of the export increase, Interfax reported.


The Russian and Finnish sides also agreed on a joint working group establishment to investigate further sales of bigger gas volumes to the western part of Finland.
