Sevmash plant in Severodvinsk and Norwegian Aker (the plant designer) are preparing to receive the contract on modules fabrication for the LNG plant, portnews.ru reported.
The head of Sevmash press department Mikhail Starozhilov said that implementation of this project is the best alternative to load capacity after completing the four offshore platforms of Prirazlomnaya type in the end of 2006.
The completed modules should be shipped by sea to Kharasevey port for further installation, added Starozhilov. Gasprom has not announced yet the concrete plans on implementation of liquefied natural gas plant on the Yamal Peninsula.
