The fire happened in modern department of deep hard oil refinery. 50-meters column of oil refinery was broken and its hard oil spelled out and inflames. Fire department of the company and fire teams of the region participated in fire elimination. There were no victims, as all the workers were evacuated, Rusenergy reported.
According to the Prime-Minister of Lithuania, damage from the fire can stand for several million dollars, and the repairs can take for six months.
