New oil terminal planned in Komi Republic

According to Governor of Komi republic Vladimir Torlopov, the oil company Enisey plans to construct a new oil processing plant in Usinsk.

“The management of the company is ready to invest huge sums in 2006-2007”, Torlopov said. The governor believes that the investments will give an extra 2 billion RUB of tax revenues to the regional budget, BarentsObserver reported. He also stressed that the Enisey has a systematic and clever approach to the development of hydrocarbon deposits and that it takes use of new technology.
