Mayor of Moscow made this announcement on the First International conference Alternative sources of energy for large cities. He also said that the world oil resources are depleting, that is why we should start to finding solutions for energy alternative sources already now, as it is a large complex scientific and technical problem, Biznes-neft VPS reported.
The mayor Moscow thinks that future belongs to hydrogen fuel, but gas, synthetic diesel fuel and dimethyl ester will dominate in transitional period to the hydrogen fuel. The next 100-200 years can become a new gas epoch on the Earth. Luzhkov also thinks that the most important task now is to involve Russian oil companies in alternative fuel development.
