According to daily Krasnaya Zvezda, Russia plans to build three nuclear subs of Borey class by 2010. The first Borey class submarine Yury Dolgoruky was laid down in 1996. The Defense Ministry actively allocates money for this submarine now. The Belgorod nuclear submarine, the Kursk’s replica, may soon be finished in Sevmashpredpriyatie on condition that the state pays in time. If the state pays the Belgorod will be able to leave the workshop and start a state test in 2004.
