Lifetime of unit no.2 at Bilibino NPP extended for 15 years

It became possible due to the upgrade and reconstruction works at the plant last year, official website of Chukotka autonomous district reported.

The lifetime of the unit no.1 was extended last year. Units no.3 and 4 will be also allowed to operate more than was planned originally. The radiation levels around Bilibino NPP remain normal.
