The project was started in 2000. In 2001 the workers started implementation of its first phase and achieved 12 million tons capacity, Oilcapital reported. The capacity of 50 million tons was achieved in August, 2004. Today Russia is on the final phase with a 65 million tons capacity per year.
“Finishing this project this week we actually have no debts on credits for the project implementation. It lets us have financial possibilities for a new project “Eastern Siberia – Pacific” implementation” the minister concluded.
