It was stated at the Russian Parliament, by the head of the Russian Nuclear Agency Sergey Kirienko. “We can loose the whole ice-breakers’ fleet in the nearest 7-10 years” Kirienko said. One of the suggestions to develop the ice-breakers’ fleet is transferral of the nuclear ice-breakers under state corporation jurisdiction. “The decision is not taken, but we can consider this possibility” Kirienko added.
