Carl joined Bellona in March 2026 as a policy advisor with a special focus on the Nordic countries. Within this region he works on several topics such as CCS and CDR, Energy Systems, Carbon Accounting, and sustainable markets for industrial decarbonisation. Carl has experience with European energy and climate policy from the European Commission, the Permanent Representation of Denmark to the EU in Brussels, and the Danish Energy Agency. He holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in political science from the University of Copenhagen, where he specialised in European energy policy.
