Dr. Marco Sirotti started working at Bellona Europa in November 2024 focusing on embodied carbon from a whole-life carbon to product perspective. Marco holds a PhD from Université libre de Bruxelles in Engineering Science and Technology with a study on the drying shrinkage of alkali-activated materials as a more sustainable alternative to Portland cement. He also holds a MSc in Engineering for Environmental Sustainability.
