Irene has a background in Industrial Engineering, with a focus in energy. Prior to joining Bellona, she worked in sustainability-focused projects in the FMCG industry. She volunteers in ClimaTalk, a youth-led climate organisation, and other social non-profit initiatives. She is also an alumna of the EIT Climate-KIC Journey 2020 and is passionate about tackling environmental challenges. At Bellona, she focuses on the embodied carbon in the construction sector.
