Runa A. Skarbø holds an MSc in Marine Technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. In Bellona, she works with all issues related to the maritime sector and the Arctic. She previously worked as a consultant in DNV GL and as a PhD candidate at NTNU. She has previous experience from risk and safety, arctic shipping and ice mechanics and maritime systems design and logistics. As a student she had summer jobs in the oil industry. She has worked and studied in both England and Singapore.Runa is also the only Bellona employee who has been to the North Pole.
